creekland
BIG NOTE: You MUST also like humor... you need to read this like an Onion article (that would be satire). I saw it linked from college confidential and it's been quite the uplifting read, esp after having completed all the pre-med research I did for/with middle son. ;) A Question and Answer Guide to Pre-Med Studies (you can scroll down, you don't have to click on the questions) http://pterencephalon.herokuapp.com/misc/pre-med/guide.html
creekland
ps If anyone is looking for more "real" advice, this link appears superb. It is from a guru on med school admissions, so work back to pre-med. You wouldn't want your first time reading material like this to be when you are putting in applications... http://forums.studentdoctor.net/threads/application-season-has-started-goros-guide-to-the-app-process.1075272/

creekland
I showed middle son the link when he came home last night...he loved it. Fortunately, we had already seen the first few episodes of Northern Exposure (via Netflix) a couple of years ago, so he was able to catch that reference too. He added the link to his FB page so his other pre-med peers could share it. ;) Satire can be really fun...
