Soror Posted May 1, 2014 Share Posted May 1, 2014 I started a thread with authors of great non-fiction books, also on AVA's list I have several listed that would work for that period, at least from the American POV, although the reading levels might be too high. For the ages of your children I would be looking at Fritz, Krull and Adler. The are lots of really wonderful and detailed picture books that would be perfect. I have a 7yo myself and I'm looking for good picture books for her to cover the main themes I want to hit. Right now the baby is asleep in my lap or I would list them- off the top of my head.
