Reefgazer
Can anyone recommend some documentaries for the Middle Ages/Medieval Era?

Murrayshire
These videos go along with the Story of the World volume 2...... Some are longer than others. http://sotw-videolinks.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html History.com http://www.history.com/topics/middle-ages/videos
Aurelia
We will be using excerpts from A History of Britain (which covers from the Stone Age through 1965), plus some of the videos in the SOTW2 link.
foxbridgeacademy
I have a bunch of possibilities but don't want to list ones that fall outside your particular timeline. What years are you studying? We're doing Fall of Rome (around 400) to Fall of Constantinople 1453.... Are you looking for short excerpts or full (1 hour or more ) Documentaries? foxbridgeacademy
Here's a good place to start, there are 17 pages of History Docs. six Doc's per page. http://www.viewzu.com/history/history__2.html The History Channel has some useful excerpts too. http://www.history.com/topics/ancient-history/byzantine-empire/videos/the-black-death-and-the-byzantine-empire If you have Netflix there is a series about the British Monarchy 12 episodes in total also - http://www.netflix.com/WiPlayer?movieid=70257135&trkid=13464595&tctx=0%2C1%2Cd9932187-5a50-44ba-bef4-6bda41446f3d-6380323 Youtube has tons of video's you just have to wade through the junk to find the good ones - - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0qgrQTXwEe0 - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T1yAxo94ClU - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vWZkitw1_Fw (more like this on the list to the right of the video) - Take a look at those and decide what area you're covering that is still missing and I can give you some more options. You can always PM me. HTH
Reefgazer
This is our time-range, also. I am open to both full-on documentaries and shorter video clips. Anything that is worthwhile and accurate. I have a bunch of possibilities but don't want to list ones that fall outside your particular timeline. What years are you studying? We're doing Fall of Rome (around 400) to Fall of Constantinople 1453.... Are you looking for short excerpts or full (1 hour or more ) Documentaries?
