I only have the 1st edition of the Well Trained Mind and I am having a hard time finding all the main resources. Can someone let me know what is recommended in the 3rd edition? mmasc Posted April 26, 2014 Share Posted April 26, 2014 My third edition recommends for first grade: Life Science (animals, human beings, plants): Dorling Kindersley's DK First Animal Encyclopedia, The Kingfisher First Human Body Encyclopedia, and Laurie Carlson's Green Thumbs as science spines.
