sdobis
My 10 year old daughter loves art. I'm interested in Creativity Express because of the no prep, low cost, fun internet style. I know she'll like it, but how long does it take to go through the 16 lessons? What else is out there that's low cost with little parent involvement and high in fun and creativity? I like the look of Home Art Studio and Meet the Masters. How many lessons are included in each video? Are the supplies hard to gather or expensive? What else is out there? Inexpensive and fun are key.

Hunter
Does your library have a decent collection of art books? TWTM suggests that the student chooses and takes home an art or music book each week. I think some student choice is important, as well as what we plan.

I also found 3 of Mark Kistler's books at my library. Thankfully, my dd has no problem changing up projects to her specifications. She uses my art projects as jumping points to do her own thing. I love this about her.
