MelanieM
My kids and I have been having great fun reading about various deep sea creatures. Does anyone have suggestions for activities or experiments that would tie in? Any great books or videos you'd recommend?

scrapbabe
Blue Planet at Netflix is awesome! They have one episode dedicated to deep see creatures. It's really cool! Also we just used his book http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/1937166058/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?qid=1395871570&sr=8-1&pi=SY200_QL40 to draw real life dimensions of a giant squid on our driveway. So cool! Then we took a picture from our roof of the boys laying next to it.
