Mama2two
Can anyone give any reviews of the CHC From Sea to Shining Sea Plans? I like the looks of the book, but what is included in their plans? For example, any writing assignments?

8filltheheart
I am not sure what chc's lesson plans are, but the ones from Catholic Textbook Project are very thorough if you are looking for background info, tests, related topics, etc. http://cstp.myshopify.com/collections/from-sea-to-shining-sea-the-story-of-america/products/from-sea-to-shining-sea-the-story-of-america-teachers-manual
Mama2two
That is exactly what I am looking for, thanks
Crimson Wife
I used the TM and 2nd the recommendation of them. CHC didn't sell the single-course plans at the time separately from whatever full grade has them incorporated.
busymotherof4
The CHC plans give more hands on ideas. It doesn't give writing assignments. It doesn't have many novel suggestions. The teachers manual gives ideas for discussion, books to read, quizes and tests, and some ideas of projects (written and other). I would buy the teacher's manual. The basic schedule is about a chapter of the text every other week. I don't think the CHC plans are worth $15 unless they have added something significant from the older plans I have.
