Whole 30 question--why no dairy??

Dairy is something many people have issues digesting.

 

Yes, and it's something a lot of people don't realize is causing problems for them until they eliminate it. So then you get people going and saying they did Whole30 but it didn't solve their problem, when they really did Whole30+dairy.

If I remember correctly, according to their book many people have issues with dairy that they are not aware of. They recommend leaving it out completely during the 30 days, and they recommend not adding it back in ever, but that people can try adding it in if they feel it truly poses no problem for them. However, they stress finding the cleanest most natural dairy possible.
