swimmermom3
Dh picked up a large packet of manager's special lean stew meat. I am not sure what to do with it. I have some broccoli and some slightly old carrots and some Thai Peanut Sauce. Can I make a stir-fry with that? Will stew meat be tough without marinating? Lara in Colo
If you have a mandoline slicer, you can freeze the meat and make paper thin slices-- that is what I do.
Artichoke
I use lean stew meat for stir-fries quite often. I usually cook the meat first, until it's just done, and then remove it from the pan as I stir-fry the veggies. Then I add it back into the stir-fry when the veggies are done and add any sauces then. If I cook the meat too long, it does get tough.
