4ofus
My 5th grade son takes a literature class at co-op. It's full of 5th-8th graders. Today they were discussing The Engineer's Thumb (they're reading Sherlock Holmes stories this semester) & focusing on the etiquette of the time period. Instructor asked if anyone knew what "antebellum" meant. My 5th grader was the only student who attempted this one..."um, before the war?" He was so excited to be correct. That is a direct result of CE. Thank you to all the board members who've talked so highly of it in the past. I'm not sure I would have found MCT on my own. TarynB
Yay for your son! That's awesome. We like Caesar's English too. 😊
daijobu
Another fan of CE here. My kids took to naming a local frog, Prodigious the Frog, owing to his size.
