Maela
I just found a handwriting app that we really, really like. I posted about it recently on my blog: iTrace.
alisoncooks
I have a 5 and 7 yr old. They like: Todo Math (for the Kinder. -- free) Reading Raven 1 and 2 (paid) Math Dots (fairy princess, dinosaurs and pirate are a hit here -- enough that we bought the full version but there is a freebie) Bible for Kids (free) Gappy's 1st words (paid) Endless Reader (sight words - we just have the free/lite version) Real Chalk HD (free) Splash Math (just got the freebie for Kinder., we didn't care for the other grades but K is fun) For fun: the TocaBoca apps are adorable: Hair Salon 2 (paid) and Fairy Tales/Tailor (free) Memory King (free) Tiny Dragon Jump (free but has adds) Subscribe to the ongoing free app thread. I've gotten so many cool freebies that way! (Just recently got Disney Presidents, which looks pretty neat!)
