Susan C.
ETA: Its cooked and yummy! I need to cook these in case our power goes out. I can't go out. I have bbq sauce if that helps. I think I would like to cut all of it up and pan fry it. I don't want to wrap bacon over individual pieces. It doesn't need to be fancy. Any ideas? Thanks and stay warm everyone. The storm is just about here... at least we went from an ice warning to a winter storm warning (snow, and that is better). But I am really far south... Things here are not made for this kind of weather. All to say we may lose power.
plansrme
I make chicken chili with chicken thighs. I grill them and used them instead of chicken breasts only because I bought a large quantity of them by accident, and I have to admit that they make better chili than white meat. I use the recipe on the Bush's beans can because it doesn't call for anything that I don't keep in my pantry. If you have a gas grill, you can cook bacon on it on a cookie sheet even with no power. No gas grill, and I have 2 days of chili in the frig! Which we can eat cold or hot. But it will be a crime to eat it cold since it is one of the best batches I have ever made!! And I am eating the "creation." Bacon, chicken, balsamic vinegar, dijon mustard, garlic powder, salt and pepper and... bbq sauce. Its yummy!
