caitlinsmom
Next month we are buying a computer that will be solely for the kids. We won't be hooking it up to the internet until we finish a remodel. In the meantime we want to have some computer games for the kids to play. The websites they enjoy the most are American Girls, A. Pintura, and BBC history games. I'd like to stay somewhat educational but it's not mandatory. What non-web based games would you recommend? Where is your favorite place to purchase games? TGHEALTHYMOM
Several of our favorite games and even newer software won't work on Windows 7. Just make sure you check that out in the description or ask the company or seller if you have W7 or 8. Charlie Churchmouse is loved by our now 4 and 6 year old boys and I got it on CBD. Amazon and CBD as well as Ebay should have a large selection. We have had American Girls in the past. Zoombinis is Logic and fun! Scribblenauts Unlimited is what we got since ds wanted it. He said it does not have the Object Editor on it though which was disappointing. Still, he has played it alot! Mavis Beacon Typing is fun too. This sound silly : Visa was and could still be giving away free games: Peter Pig's Money Counter and Money Metropolis are what we ordered last year. ds 11 loves these too! Scrabble : We still play this too when the power or internet go out! Or when sick or just bored. Just get the right version for you. Wheel of Fortune Word games ( Hoyle) is fun with many games. Lizzie in Ma
We really loved the Jumpstart products, Zoombinis, Math Missions, and Cluefinders when the kids were younger.
