MollyAnn
If you finished 100EZ which level of AAR did you start with? I look at the samples for Level 1 and I know he is beyond what I am seeing. The placement for Level 2 says he should know different syllable types. 100EZ doesn't cover syllables. Is there review of syllable types in Level 2? Is the coverage of syllable in Level 1 so much that it is a must to do?
MollyAnn
Really? No one?
MerryAtHope
If syllable types is the only thing he doesn't know, he should be fine with AAR 2. The first step does review open and closed syllables. This article on syllable types gives an overview too. HTH some!
Arboreal TJ
We made it 3/4 through 100 EZ then switched to AAR. 100EZ wasn't working for us, we started AAR1 from the beginning for review. I'm glad we did. That said if 100EZ was working I think jumping into AAR2 would work well.
