snickerplum
Trying to decide on a tablet - is there THAT much benefit to a 10.1 over an 8.9?
Catwoman
Will you be carrying it around with you in a handbag or tote bag, or is it something you will mostly use at home? Sometimes smaller is better when you're taking it places with you, but larger is nice if you're mostly going to be sitting on the sofa at home watching videos or visiting the WTM forums. :) If there's a big price difference between the two sizes, I would go with the cheaper one, because I think 8.9" is plenty big enough. WishboneDawn
I have a 10 and I'd go smaller if I were to buy one today. I liked to carry it around. Plus, now that I have a smart phone even 7 seems huge!
Heather in Neverland
I bought an iPad and hen I bought the iPad mini. I LOVE the iPad mini screen size. It is perfect for everything I do and SO portable.
mytwomonkeys
I have an iPad & my son has an RCA 9 inch android tablet. Both are nice and very manageable. We also have a Nexus 7 & a Nook Color - both have 7 inch screens. I much prefer the larger. It is easier for me to type and see. :) This is my son's: http://www.walmart.com/ip/RCA-9-Dual-Core-Tablet-with-8GB-Memory/28806790 My smart phone is only used for LTE when I'm out and about & need to access the internet for some reason
Guest ipadteaching
I think bigger is better, it just comes down to whether you want to carry them around? The difference probably isn't that much
