Samiam
We are looking to rent a cabin for 12 people in June. We've been to Gatlinburg a handful of times, but either camped out or do a hotel, so we are not familiar with the cabin scene. The number #1 priority is that it be on a lake. I'm having a hard time finding that. It seems that there are not that many lakes in the area. I can only find Douglas Lake. We are willing to be 30-ish minutes from Gatlinburg/PF. Any recommendations, any lake areas that I am missing? thnks!
SamuelsMommy
I don't know if you will find any cabins on a lake near Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge. Most people come for the mountains and hiking and things like that and that's where most of the cabins are. Sorry I'm no help
SweetMissMagnolia
the cabin we had was very secluded-we went to pigeon forge to get married/honeymoon.....no lakes-lots of trees LOL
SamuelsMommy
I asked my husband when he got home last night and he said he didn't know about cabins on the lake, but there are nice cabins in Townsend on the river if you wanted to be on the water.
