dancingmama
We have recently come to writing. We had been unschooling but have slowly been shifting to more rigorous work. She just started writing this fall and we're doing WWE 1 and MCT Island. She had to do an interview and write a paragraph about the interview. Writing is not my strength. Will you help me critique her work? I interviewed my teacher Miss Gina to see if I liked her job. She is a dance teacher and owns her own studio. She said she takes lots of classes for training. Both of us agreed dancing and choreography is the most fun part of her job. The hardest part is picking songs for the dancers. She is her own boss and I like that. She danced ever since she was little so she said that the job chose her. She likes that she can exercise while doing the thing she loves and the easiest part of her job is hanging out with us. I think I want to be like her when I grow up.
Jean in Newcastle
It is a beautiful paragraph for a 9 year old! It is interesting and well organized.

dancingmama
Thanks. I'm really not sure what a 9 year olds writing is supposed to look like so I wasn't sure how far behind we really were. I was hoping that she would "catch up" once she showed interest.
