And today she is 8.

Recommended Posts

Today Peyton is 8. She's no longer the chubby little toddler who wandered the house all day, quietly checking things out. Now she's a skinny, joy-filled 8 year old who sings and dances at the drop of a hat.

I love her so. But I miss the chubster.

All of you guys with teenagers (and up!) - I don't know how you stand it!

Mine turned 8 this past Sunday. There are days that I envy those of you with multiple children, to know that you have more than one chance to experience all the stages. Wasn't in the cards for us, though, so I am working hard to stay present in the moment with my daughter as she grows.
