Flowing Brook
My neighbors build portable sawmills. I do not know much about it but they sell tons all across the country. My friend bought one and said they work really well. They are very happy with theirs.

Guest SawyerBrown
I have a Wood-Mizer portable sawmill. As far as I'm concerned, it's the "Cadillac" of sawmills. I've had it about a year when I started my own sawmilling business, and it's worked great. It's also fairly expensive, so you might have to expand on what you're looking for. I'd suggest that if you want to research anything related to logging/sawing/forestry/etc/etc, visit www.forestryforum.com. If you can't find answers to your questions there, you won't find it anywhere! My "handle" there is SawyerBrown Pete
saraha
Thanks, I was looking around on that forum the other day. It is kind of hard to navigate, but I saw a few tips on there. We looked at woodmizers, and that starts with an N, I can't remember. So do you homeschool too?
