MarigoldHS
do these programs complement each other well? or is there another writing program that would fit better with MCT (WWE was a total fail)? Thank you!

TKDmom
I've done MCT Island, and I briefly owned CW Primer before selling it again. I think they would probably complement each other well, but you would be spending a lot of time on LA. If you are looking at any higher levels, you really need to choose one or the other. They approach LA from completely different angles. The thought of doing either a full MCT level or CW Homer with any other curriculum makes me want to run away screaming. :willy_nilly: But the thought of doing BOTH... :svengo: I never managed to successfully finish all of MCT Town OR CW Homer. LaCEmom
I have no idea (we're not there yet) but when you decide on something can you post about it. :) Are you using all of MCT?

LMD
I used CW primers last year for 2nd grade with my DD. We both loved it. This year I'm using CW aesop a with MCT & imo they complement each other well. ETA - we also do daily cursive practice & spend about 1hr Max on LA a day. So far CW & MCT together isn't too onerous.
