mamato4
How do you find where colleges give admissions and financial talk? I know I can go to the respective colleges to do that but I've heard come colleges get together and give talks in hotels, etc. I want to try to go to one of those. Thank you! (CTCL is the book by Loren Pope reviewing forty colleges; after reading it, you'll want to attend them all!) Here is a link to CTCL events. Teachin'Mine
Anna you can go onto each college's website and the information on out of state information sessions is usually under prospect student visits or something like that. No idea if there's a way you can search for all the colleges which will hold info sessions in your state, but googling might get you some. nancy in nj
You can do a google search on "College Admissions Fairs" for your region or in the nearest big city. Once you ds takes the PSAT/SAT you will likely be inundated by mail from colleges looking for kids in his score-range--most colleges do road trips to targeted areas of the country. If you have specific colleges in mind, you can probably search on their admissions websites to see when they will have a team in your area.
