Carrie12345
Lol before I even start writing... but it's worth a shot in the hive. There are lots of books on dealing with crazy families. There are lots of books on dealing with elderly parents. What about crazy parents who aren't elderly? Strained relationships, financial messes, "inability" to change, and the pressure on grown kids to "take care" of things. I'm really struggling to come up with anything like this. Chris in VA
In a more generic way, Boundaries, by Townsend, is pretty good. Are you looking for something like that?
MunRoLy
Boundaries came to my mind first as well.
Carrie12345
Maybe! I will definitely give it a go, thanks. On boundaries, in general, we've been working hard to set some. The drastic consequences that are inevitable scare the bleep out of us. We're kind of frozen in fear of the future, and I'm afraid that's what's guiding our decisions.
