chpiper
We are way off the WTM recommended schedule, and I need an idea where to go from where we are. In the past few years she has done some American history (a few years ago), with a state study, Ancient history, then went to public school for a year where she did a year in geography. She was going to do Beautiful Feet Ren and Reformation (she liked the looks of it) but once she got started really disliked it. She is way above 8th grade reading level and comprehension, and is doing high school courses in LA, math, and science...So I feel like she can handle a high school history course...just really don't know what to try. She likes literature based programs, but the books must be really easy to get at a library, our funds are extremely limited...History is not a subject she has shown incredible interest in, but I want her to have a fun year...any ideas? I'm going to post in the high school forum as well...
