Mom25girls
Thanks in advance for your assistance. For those who have used Tablet Class, does your child (or you) print off pages? Lots of copious note taking? My 12 yr old daughter is concerned about the lack of a physical book. This summer I've been juggling one starting Pre-A, one reviewing Pre-A, an unmotivated 11yr old and my newly minted fourth grader. I think it might be time to consider outsourcing. Thanks for your feedback. I truly appreciate it. :)Michele
Mom0012
My son takes notes during the lectures. This has been a good skill for him to begin to develop! I don't print anything. My son writes out all the problems, even though writing is very difficult for him, "because he feels it is important for him to practice writing everything out". Really, once you start hitting multistep algebra problems, there is a lot to write out anyway, so copying the problem isn't that big of a deal. He does use my iPad so that he can sit comfortably at his desk to do the problems.
dereksurfs
We had the same experience as Pastel. Whether using a book or an online program we *always* write out the problems including full steps to solve. In fact we are doing that right that now with the AoPS text. There is really little difference once one starts using it. Though for first timers it seems a little different than what they might be used to in the beginning.
