tsuria
I am seeking to firm up my homeschool plans for Fall for my rising 3rd grader. Think I've got most of the subjects covered. However, I'm seeking your expertise in terms of Geography studies. Is there a great curriculum out there for this subject area. I'd like one that builds on stage by stage till upper levels? It is more for my ability to keep track on progress. We blast through grade levels in our home and I'd like to know where I'm at if that makes sense. Please help. Thanks so much! MamaSprout
We have/ like this, but I got it for a dollar at a used book sale: http://www.greatsource.com/store/ProductCatalogController?cmd=Browse&subcmd=LoadDetail&division=G01&level1Code=01&level2Code=040&level3Code=202&sortProductsBy=SEQ_TITLE I haven't looked at any of the other "daily" Geography books, but I like the daily part because it leads to bunny trails. We also use the atlas whenever we hear of something we haven't seen before. Bean Bean
Spetzi
Not a curriculum, but interesting and fun. My kids tend to like to do anything that give them more computer time. It's FREE. http://www.sheppardsoftware.com/
