Lisa L. in MI
I'm considering this for 15yos. Please post your experiences. Thanks! Lisa
Gwen in VA
My son had a great experience taking Visual Basic through Potter's School last year. The course was straightforward and fairly easy for my son so he did lots of extra work on the programming assignments, getting them to do extra stuff. The teacher worked with my son outside of class if ds had detailed questions on the assignment. It was a wonderful class. Ds is signed up for C++ this year. My ONLY concern about the class would be if you son has a lot of prior computer experience. If he is already a computer whizz, I would worry that the class would be too easy. If he either isn't a computer whizz, wants documentation of his computer knowledge, or just wants a solid class on the subject matter, I would guess that the class would be a good one for your son. Lisa L. in MI
Thank you, Gwen, for posting. Ds is by no means a computer whiz, so perhaps this would be a good choice for him. Anyone else have a child who has taken this particular course? Thanks, Lisa

He learned a ton and loved the teacher (Mr. Madison).:)
