C_l_e_0..Q_c
Ok, this is my official freak-out thread. Advanced math. So far I've handled algebra, geometry, and even algebra 2. However I stumbled on trigonometry - which I used to love, but it's just too old! I haven't touched that stuff in ..well.. a millenium at least! (estimate at 1983, so 30 years) DS will be tackling Calculus this year. and he wants to go with Art of Problem Solving. So far, he's done Jacobs and Forester. Well, at that level, AoPS no longer offers videos, or additional exercises with Alcumus. They do offer a forum, so there's a slim hope there. The online class conflicts with another class he's already registered to. What can I get as resources to help him out when there's a problem? mathmarm
Wait, you need Calculus help or Trig?
Julie of KY
I think the solution manuals for the AoPS books as well as the forums is all the help my son needs. I haven't looked at the calculus book itself, but I have up through precalc so far.
C_l_e_0..Q_c
I need resources to turn to, should my son have problems understanding, or if he and I do not agree on something - which has happened in the past, and it's usually 50/50 on who's right. regentrude
What about Khan Academy? The AoPS solution manual is good. And you can always ask here.
