Chalk Dust or Saxon math?

Thanks to the advice of many here, oldest dd will do College Algebra or Advanced Math this next year. She loves Chalk Dust yet also does well with Saxon. Chalk Dust covers stats/probability yet not trig, while Saxon is exactly the opposite (from what I've read, at least). Given that she is not STEM focused, does it seem Chalk Dust is a better fit for her? Saxon is so much cheaper to purchase yet I'll cringe and order Chalk Dust if anyone can highly recommend it.

Frankly I'd stick with Chalkdust if it is working well for you. Jumping into Saxon's Advanced Math might not be as smooth a transition as you'd like.

I agree. We loved Chalkdust, hated Saxon. Completely different approach. If Chalkdust is working, I'd stick with that.

Have you checked out the Chalkdust Precalculus course? It includes College Algebra, Trig and Limits.

I did look at it however it was indicated as a better fit for STEM students while College Algebra (which includes statistics) is better for non-STEM students.
