Ottakee
I am wanting some brownies or bars but don't have a brownie mix (or the stuff to make the real thing) but I do have 9 cake mixes in the house. Anyone have a recipe which uses a cake mix to make a brownie/bar type thing---thinking something we can just eat with our fingers, etc--no cupcakes. H.S. Burrow
Here's a link to several Cake Mix Brownie recipes. I just googled Cake Mix Brownies. http://www.cooks.com/rec/search/0,1-0,cake_mix_brownies,FF.html
Quiver0f10
Do you have canned pumpkin? Mix one chocolate cake mix with one can pumpkin. No water, eggs oil etc. It will be very thick. Spoon it into a lighly greased 9X13 and bake for 20 min. Nice, near fat free brownies that are very yummy! :D

To the OP: if you have all that cake mix and a can of coke or diet coke (or 12 ozs.), just mix the coke & cake mix together and bake it like Jean suggested for the pumpkin. Let us know what you do and how they come out!
