Seasider
Seems like I read in a thread here that it's 30mg daily - is that right?

Dandelion
You could start with 30mg and if that doesn't work after a few weeks, bump it up to 50mg. I don't have acne, but I was starting to experience a once-a-month breakout about 2 years ago. It wasn't too bad, but it was enough to be annoying. About 6 months ago, I started taking 50mg of zinc citrate daily. I haven't had the breakouts since.
Seasider
Thanks, Dandelion. That's what we'll try, start with 30 and move up to 50 if needed.
Liz CA
Someone in the know has suggested 90mg but building up to it sounds good to me.
IdahoHomeschooler
Does anyone else get nauseated from taking zinc? I have to take it right before bed and fall asleep quickly, or else I'm miserable.

Don't know yet! But maybe it would be a good idea to just start taking it at bedtime in order to avoid that chance - thanks for the heads up. BTW, I have to take my iron supplements in the evening for the same reason.
