sbgrace
My son just started inhaled Flovent a couple of days ago. The pulmonologist had told us to have him swish and rinse his mouth after using it. My BIL pediatrician told me to brush his teeth as well, so I'm doing both. His breath constantly smells like the Flovent. Is that normal or are we doing something wrong? I am using a spacer/chamber to administer.
GoVanGogh
DS is on Flovent currently. I have not noticed his breath smelling after. They say to either brush or rinse after, as the med can cause thrush. I would have him rinse his mouth out longer and make sure he is swishing as far back as he comfortably can w/o gagging.
