amyrjoy
Could you use the Grade 4 book of English for part of fifth grade? We began this maybe a month ago (was doing other stuff before)...but I'd love to go through it, rather than move to the next level. Or, does it not matter, and should I do what I can the rest of school and then switch over to Grade 5 English next year?
Mommy22alyns
I think that you can jump into R&S at any level through Grade 5. Past that, they recommend going back a bit.

boscopup
You can do it either way. Grade 5 will repeat the material of grade 4 and add to it. You can jump into grade 5 with no grammar instruction at all. At the same time, some people use R&S a little bit behind grade level, since the upper books get harder. I think HOD has people spread some books across 2 years even. (note: I haven't used 5 yet... plan to order it in the next 2 weeks while the sale is going on ;) )
SilverMoon
I agree. Either route will work. Take your pick. :001_smile:
