ariana01
I live in a state where you have to take tests, and I was wondering how it works. Does it work with age or by grade? Because my daughter is currently a year behind and will this effect testing? She isn't ready yet to take the seventh grade test because she is now in sixth grade, but she is at the age of seventh grade.
boscopup
You can register her with the state as a 6th grader if you think she'd benefit having an extra year before graduating. Though you may not find much difference between 6th and 7th grade testing... Middle school is kind of a holding pattern, isn't it?
Candid
It really depends on the state. Where I am we use nationally standardized tests, but children can be put into whatever grade you want.
