Nakia
My current 7th grader is almost done with Lial's pre-algebra, and I'm planning to use Lial's algebra with her, I think (we already own it). Does Lial have books that cover geometry, algebra 2, and so on? I'm thinking ahead. I've always heard that you need to try and find a math curriculum and stick with it through high school. Maybe that's not necessarily true. That's another thing I've been wondering about. TIA!
HollyDay
I am using Lial's Intro to Algebra this year and plan to us Lial's Intermediate Algebra. But, I do not know what to use for geometry. I think Lial's has a geometry book, but I have not been able to find any info or reviews.
Mom22ns
Lial does have a geometry book, but because her series is written for college students, it is rarely used, thus hard to find cheap. College students don't actually need Geometry and so they just go through Algebra and straight onto Pre-Calc. Here is the Lial book. Jann uses Larson instead for Geometry, then comes back to Lial's for Algebra 2. Dd will use MUS for Geometry next year before returning to Lial's for Algebra 2. Nakia
Thanks everyone! I have Introductory Algebra already. I find it difficult to sort through the Lial books choices.
