rellybob
Been lurking for quite a while; it's really about time I joined! I won't be full on homeschooling for a couple years as my dd is still a toddler, but I'm already obsessed with researching everything about homeschooling. :drool5: Loving this forum! Jean in Newcastle
Welcome. There are a number of people here with young children who are exploring homeschooling. The Pre K board might be a good place to start your research, though of course you're welcome everywhere.
Guest ehearnd
Hi rellybob! I can relate. I just joined and am preparing to start homeschooling in the fall (my boys will be Kindergarten & 2nd grade)...we decided to go this route in December and researching has been my obsession since. I found "100 Top Picks for Homeschool Curriculum" by Cathy Duffy at my library and that walked me through great starter questions about how I wanted to approach homeschooling...and as I read through what's out there, my vision for what I wanted it to look like changed drastically. Have fun in the forums!

Guest tessabee
I know just what you mean, rellybob. I've been poring over these boards for ideas for pre-K-ish activities to do with my workbook-loving, numbers-obsessed 3.5 yo too. What a great resource. Oh, and ehearnd, thanks for another reference to add to my library list!
