bethben
I saw the conceptual chemistry by pearson(?) online helps called chemistry alive and was intrigued. The only thing is- its considered a college course and I would have a young 13 year old (7th-8th grade). He has the math skills and will have completed algebra 2. Should we just go for it or stick to the Dive ICP plan? Beth
EKS
I used Conceptual Chemistry with my son when he was in 8th grade. Looking back on it, I should have just used a regular chemistry text. I recommend taking a look at Zumdahl's Introductory Chemistry: A Foundation. It is straightforward and the way it's laid out makes it easy to teach from.
