ByGrace3 Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 I was planning on using this next year for ds and dd 1st and 3rd, but then I just read someone saying it was too difficult for their first grader and I started questioning. Ds tagged along for biology for pre k and is doing ESA in K. He narrates and notebooks, and loves science. Will chemistry be too much? Is there a big jump? Quote
ALB Posted February 7, 2013 Posted February 7, 2013 Well, I'll be adding in a Ker! We are in a similar spot, my ds has joined in with Intro, ESA and biology. I won't require any of the written components, but he'll listen to the readings and participate in the experiments. Quote
Sara in AZ Posted February 7, 2013 Posted February 7, 2013 My first grader did fine last year. I didn't have him do a lot of writing, but he enjoyed the readings and experiments. Quote
ByGrace3 Posted February 7, 2013 Author Posted February 7, 2013 Thank you all! I still write narrations for both, and next year dd will transition to writing her own but I will continue to write for ds. Thanks, glad to know it should be fine! Quote
