klmama
I'd love to find a book that covers the 20th century and is similar to the Genevieve Foster books (George Washington's World, Abraham Lincoln's World). Any suggestions?
klmama
Thanks for the list. I didn't realize she wrote so many. What I'm looking for now, though, is a book that was written in the later part of the 20th century that would cover 20th century US and world history in a chronological way through stories about individuals and would be at about the same reading level as the Foster books. helena
Great question! We're doing early modern this year and enjoying Genevieve Foster's books. I'd love to keep that vibe going. I also discovered Edwin Tunis and Eric Sloane this year... Sigh, 20th century seems so... modern. :tongue_smilie: :lurk5:
