Garga
Life of Fred--are these text books? Work books? Basically, can I resell them when I'm done, or will they be written in or very dogeared?
Erica in OR
For the Fractions, Decimals & Percents, and Pre-Algebra, they're text books (we don't have any of the others, so can't speak to them). You can resell them. There shouldn't be any writing in them—the author encourages students to write things down on paper. They are pretty hot in the resale market too, at least for now. Garga
Thank you! And, duh, I didn't even think of looking for them used for myself. So silly of me.
Erica in OR
For used copies though, people are typically asking very close to the price you can buy them new from the author. I decided just to buy from the author through the company that fulfills his orders. I think they have free shipping. Erica in OR
NittanyJen
These are all hardback books with very nice bindings.
boscopup
No writing in them at all. I have the elementary series, intermediate series, Fractions, and Decimals & Percents. All hardback books. The "Your Turn to Play" is intended to be done on separate paper, and he says in the front of the book NOT to write in the book. ;) I do the Elementary series orally right now, though I don't know if he'll need paper more often later in the series. DS2 is in Cats right now. DS1 is in Fractions and always uses separate paper for those.
Arboreal TJ
Rainbow Resource and Exodus Books have the best prices on LOF with free or reasonable shipping. I gave up trying to find used, it was more affordable to buy new, FYI.
