kiwik
I went to school in NZ during the seventies. Grammar was out of fashion at the time (along with phonics and phonetic spelling). I have always been a prolific reader and had a good memory so I have managed without formal training. I would like to learn more though now my children are getting to school age. Can you recommend a cost and time effective resource. I don't want to have to trudge through 10 years worth of workbooks or anything like that. Sunshine State Sue
I don't really know of anything specifically for adults, but... We used Analytical Grammar for 6th-7th-8th grade. The author wrote it originally for her 8th grade English class - it was their only year of grammar. I like it because it is clear and concise. You may read my review here.
