Graphic Organizers for Literary Analysis & Figurative Language

Recommended Posts

I wanted to share the link to a graphic organizer for literary analysis that I designed for my book club meeting tomorrow. I hope this will be a help to any of you who might use it.

Blessings!

Update:

I added a new one for figurative language practice. We did this one the board today in our meeting, so I thought I'd make one for all of you, too.

Thanks for sharing. I just started a book club a couple months ago with my two oldest and few other children in the neighborhood. I was a science major and didn't have lit analysis in high school or college. I am learning as much as the children.

Have you read Deconstructing Penguins? It was a great resource. I also went through Teaching the Classics program.
