Jean in Newcastle
Our cat's litter box is in a bathroom (6' x 7') right off of the schoolroom. It is cleaned daily and the bathroom floor is swept. I'm wondering if it would be bad if I put one of the dogs' crates in there. He is only in his crate at night (about 10 hours). The door to the bathroom would be open. The cat has the freedom to roam the schoolroom and the bathroom at night. Would this be bad for the dog's health? The dog's crate is currently in the schoolroom but it blocks use of our bookshelves and he makes everything dusty.
beaners
I wouldn't worry about the dog, but will the cat be able to continue using the box at night? Mine might not like that idea.

Mine might not like that idea. I don't think it would bother the cat. He gets along just fine with the dog. And I don't think it would make him feel self conscious. . . . But that's a good thing to think about.
