Guest mamapebbles
We are expats living in Mexico and I am pulling dd (2nd grade) out of private school. She is billingual (speak, read, write). She has been using the Abeka spanish version for Grammar (Aguila). I don't care for it, and am looking for something else. Any recommendations? CrunchyGirl
Is the R&S Spanish Curriculum as heavily religious as their English version?
Ohdanigirl
Is the R&S Spanish Curriculum as heavily religious as their English version? Yes it is. You can go to the local book stores and and ask for recommendations. They will let you know what books the local private schools are using. You may also try to keep her reading books in Spanish, and maybe even watching the Saturday children's shows. The SEP books might be useful if you can get your hands on them. HTH. crazyforlatin
Dd is not bilingual in Spanish but is learning with a tutor and using Practice Makes Perfect series. Given that your child is bilingual, I don't think these books would be too difficult.
