KarenNC
We were passing through Jacksonville, FL on E 295 and noticed a building with onion domes visible from the highway. Anyone know what it is? My husband guessed it might be a Russian Orthodox church, but I can't seem to find confirmation. It really piqued my interest and I thought someone might know what it was. milovany
You could do a search for Jacksonville, FL here: http://orthodoxyinamerica.org/lr_v10/locator.php I tried to take a look, but wasn't sure which parish would be in the area you're referring to since I don't know the area. PrincessMommy
It's possible it might be a Greek church. There are a lot of Greeks in FL. Also, some Catholic churches will use a dome. That Bascillica in DC has one too. It could also be a mosque. I thi;nk they use a dome too
