sdWTMer
ACK!!!! Don't scare me like that! LOL! I can't imagine my 2 boys driving. It won't be long before the oldest starts! Yikes!
Quiver0f10
But at least you should never have to go grocery shopping again! :001_huh: LOL, it does have perks! Two of the boys work at WM, so I really don't have to shop if I don't want too :D.
Sandy in Indy
You have my sympathies! I'm putting off ds getting his "real" license as long as I can. One is scary enough!
WTMindy
Oh, the insurance!!:001_huh:
Quiver0f10
Oh, the insurance!!:001_huh: Thankfully they all pay their own. When we added my DD it went up @ $65, then we added DS 18 and it went up $95! So I expect it to go up another $95-$100, with this DS, which means we will be paying $450 a month for car insurance :scared: :crying: And we all drive older, owned outright vehicles. It's nuts. lynn
Some things to consider. Discounts to look for: 1. did they take drivers ed? 2. grades? 3. multi drivers. I would call and discuss in length any and all options to save $$.
Quiver0f10
We have a discount for multiple policies ( we also have life through them), safe driver and in AR whether you have had driver's ed or not doesn't matter as far as insurance cost. We tried a few other companies and it was much higher.
Diana in OR
:driving::svengo::scared: I don't know if I will survive lol. I have a stb15yos who is chomping at the bit to drive. Frankly, the idea terrifies me! I didn't post this under the "Irrational Fears" thread b/c I don't think it's irrational. Seriously, other than lots of prayer, how do you cope through this stage of parenthood?

I didn't post this under the "Irrational Fears" thread b/c I don't think it's irrational. Seriously, other than lots of prayer, how do you cope through this stage of parenthood? Well lots and lots of prayers for sure. But, you raise them the best you can, install in them a good foundation and you let them go. It's very hard and many a night I sit watching the clock waiting for them to get home. Anything over 5 minutes past their usual and I start to get ancy with worry LOL. God is in control and I have to remind myself that alot lately.
