nitascool
My kids are watching Discovery Planet Ocean and my soon to be 11 year old just said... "This would be really interesting if I didn't already know it all." This is his same complaint about his science book. It's so hard finding a good fit for this boy who is producing @ maybe 4 grade level and comprehending at college level. If only his output were anywhere near his input...:001_huh: I could just kick back and eat some popcorn :lurk5: Am I alone in this frustration? LittleIzumi
At 11 I'm sure I'll be right there with The Sponge! She's close at 7--middle school science input and K/1st output.
jenL
You are not alone. Although we have not received the formal diagnosis (testing was just completed today), my son's pediatrician and I have suspected 2e for a few years now. We'll know the results on the 21st. Your son's comment is one I hear often from my son... it's the same situation here: high input, low output. Some days are tougher than others! :grouphug:
crazyfordlr
Add us to the high i/p, low o/p. It's frustrating for all involved!
