Karen in CO Posted July 20, 2008 Share Posted July 20, 2008 Have you looked at the other things that Hewitt offers? They have seom "Best" books that cover short stories, plays, or fiction. They use different reading selections to cover different elements like character, plot, setting, etc. Each has 10 chapters. So you could do 3 and cover a whole year. It is a book study curriculum that has you or dc choose your own books from 9 different genres. There is not any grammar or spelling or extra stuff that LLATL has. Just book studies.
