Ellie
I wouldn't do Daily Grams unless there has already been significant grammar study.
ereks mom
I wouldn't do Daily Grams unless there has already been significant grammar study. :iagree: I've been using Daily Grams with my students, and it's working the way it's supposed to for all except the one who had little formal grammar instruction in PS before she came to me this year as a 10th grader. She doesn't know punctuation rules and can't even locate the subject and verb in a sentence. And she came to me from the BEST school in the area, academically speaking. I thought she'd know way more grammar than she does, and the plan was that she would practice it with Daily Grams. But I found out she didn't know how to do a lot of the Daily Grams exercises, so I had her work in the Easy Grammar book so she could learn enough to practice! kandty
We have a regular grammar program and he knows basic grammar, but he is a kid who need constant review to get it in long term memory. Our current program doesn't provide review. We will be doing sentence diagramming too to help.
