Ghee
If I were listing measurements for our bookcases I would list height, width, and depth. The listing on the site is for length, width, and height.... which one is depth? The width? That's the smallest, so I'm assuming so. To me length and height are the same thing (the vertical measurement), so I would use height and width for a vertical and horizontal measurement... so confused :glare:
Ghee
No one? Really? maybe I'm the only one weird enough to ponder this :)
nukeswife
I would use width as the depth measurement. I know it seems really weird, but I'm sure people will figure out that the smallest measurement is actually the depth.
RoughCollie
I've pondered this, too. I figure height is how tall something is. Width is the horizontal measurement. Depth is how far back it goes. So my bookcase would be 72" tall, 36" wide, and 12" deep (72h, 36w, 12d).
