Michelle in AL
If you've used this, is the teacher's manual beneficial if I have the solutions manual? Does it give problems to be worked out in class, common errors, expanded explanations of concepts?
Sharon in MD
I used the Al II portion of this text by Foerster as a one year Al II course and then switched to his pre-calculus with Trig text published by Key Press for the next year in the sequence. I found the Teacher's edition for the Al II/trig text and the Instructor's manual for the Pre-calculus course to be very helpful in scheduling, problems to assign and things to watch out for (common mistakes and misunderstandings and so on). I personally, since I'm coming along in math with my son and am not independently gifted in math, would not want to try it with out the aide of the teacher's materials. SusanAR
I agree with Sharon; I find the TE very helpful. I ordered mine through Veritas Press, but because they had to order it directly from the publisher, I had to fill out the paperwork from PH before they shipped it.
